“After researching some ways to get my teenage son involved in performance cars and the racing industry, I came across Youth Racers of America. They secured a job shadow with Chip Ganassi Racing where my son spent a day learning and experiencing behind the scenes racing from a world class race team. He came away with an enthusiasm and excitement to possibly pursue performance engines as a career. Youth Racers of America have continued to look for other ways to connect him to the racing world. We are so thankful for the organization and the heart they put into connecting youth to racing.”

“Seth had another chance to job shadow today, this time at Andretti Autosport, following his shadow at Chip Ganassi Racing. These opportunities have been so good for him! The day started with a tour of the facility and then he got to spend some time in each department. He got to ask some questions about educational options, and he even got to attempt to weld some scrap metal. It was a great experience. I cannot thank you enough for these two opportunities. He has loved them and they’ve truly been so beneficial in helping him make decisions about his future. I’m so thankful for all that he has learned and so many people at both teams taking the time to show him around, let him hang out for the day, and answer his questions about education, experience, etc. Thank you to Youth Racers of America for all the work that has gone into setting up these fantastic job shadow opportunities!”
